I have been interested in Photography for quite a few years. I started out with a manual Pentax SLR and made the leap to digital slr just over a year ago. I mainly do landscapes but I also focus on Astrophotography, taking pictures of the night sky.

Easter 2009

:thumb119013092: Having a fortnight off for the Easter holiday has allowed me to spend more time doing the things I love. One of them of course is photography. Those who know me will know that I absolutely hate driving and fear it. But I have decide that I have to face my fears. At the moment I am driving out to various locations to take pictures and experiment more with what I shoot. I recently decided to treat myself to a new lens. Most of the lenses I have are manual from when I used a 35mm SLR, and using these lenses on my Nikon D40x has been successful, but having to set the focus and aperture manually for every shot on a digital SLR c
